As part of a 3 generation family of Penn State graduates, and having grown up as a “Penn Stater”, I have always said that my “blood is blue”. I spent my adult years raising my children in the Centre County community and worked with many Penn State athletes as an athletic trainer. I am married to a Penn State graduate whose father was a professor. My husband retired from Penn State as Director of Environmental Health and Safety after over 40 years of service. Penn State to me means “pride, loyalty, tradition, and a class act.” I have a responsibility as a part of the Penn State family to always handle my affairs in a way that exemplifies what I believe Penn State is—Honor and Integrity. It is an honor to be able to say I graduated from Penn State University.
